It enriches the natural colouring of stone by making it more light absorbent. The more light the stone absorbs, the darker it appears to the naked eye. While the body of the substrate is darkened, the higher density minerals and exposed aggregates are brightened, lifting the appearance of the whole area.

Applications
Application Areas
Intense Pro is a colour enhancing sealer for natural stone and concrete, well suited to dense stone types. Its high-performance penetrating agents help it penetrate small pores to greater depths and make application easier.
Expected Wear
Intense Pro provides premium protection for up to 10 years, and in many applications several years longer. However, application methods, weather conditions, traffic, harsh cleaning methods and substrate type will all affect wear. Avoid solvents, strong acids and strong alkalis for extended sealer life. Where harsh conditions exist, reapply every 5–7 years.
Considerations
- Not for use as below-ground waterproofing.
- Do not apply if the temperature is above 32°C or if rain is expected within 24 hours of application.
- If rain has preceded the application, allow the surface 24 hours to dry completely.
How to Use
Read and understand the SDS before use. Always pre-test in an inconspicuous location for substrate sensitivity to chemicals.
Preparation
- New installations must be fully cured before applying Intense Pro (minimum 48 hours).
- Existing stone, tile and grout must be totally clean, dry and chemical free.
- Coverage is 5–10m² per litre per coat. Coverage for the second application is typically double.
Dilution
Ready to use. Do not dilute.
Application
- Apply 1 to 2 coats of Intense Pro, generously saturating the surface with a polish applicator or roller, working in easily reached sections of approximately 15m². Ensure even coverage.
- The surface must stay shiny wet with a liquid film for at least 1 minute. Very porous substrates may need more sealer.
- Allow 2–10 minutes for the sealer to absorb, then move the excess product to a new section with a squeegee.
- If applying a second coat, wait 1 to 2 hours and repeat the process. The second coat can also be applied days later.
- Ten minutes after the last application, wipe off any sealer remaining on the surface using absorbent towelling or an applicator. Moisten the towel with methylated spirits to remove residues that have dried on the surface.
- Allow 6 hours before returning the area to traffic, and keep it dry for 24 hours. Intense Pro reaches a full cure in 24–48 hours.
